Regional sensitization workshop on building resilient agriculture in Tigray
PELUM Ethiopia in collaboration with ISFM/GIZ, MOA and Tigray Region Bureau of Agriculture organized a sensitization meeting for experts at the BOA on 05 August 2023 at Wukro, Eastern zone, Tigray. There was an interesting and motivating sessions.
There were officials, high class scientists such as Prof Mitiku Haile, experienced citizens like Berhane Haile (Russia), Dr. Abadi Girmay, etc. Moreover psycho-social session was covered by Mr Tsegazeab from Mekelle University. Fascilitation was by Ato Belay of ISFM/GIZ and Dr. Hailu Araya of PELUM Ethiopia. Important ideas were raised. Participants agreed to motivate smallholder based agroecological practices especially home garden and local input utilization to empower people especially mothers.
