A consultative meeting of Organic Fertilizer Taskforce is going on at the MOA. Different actively working organizations on promoting organic fertilizer are participating. The meeting was opened by Mr Lire CEO of the Soil Resource Directorate.
Different topics from Ethiopia and abroad (Ghana) presented for an update. One of the examples presented is an assessment report conducted in four Regional States by the MOA together with partners including PELUM Ethiopia.
The Ghana experience was good. Another lesson was from Lem Chaka on compost making from food waste. The last presentation was presented by Mr. Sileshi Bekele from MOA. It was on Urban Natural Waste Management .. he presented his vision on successful management. Such as avoiding Qoshe(waste dumbing area) out of Addis Ababa.
