PELUM Ethiopia has organized training for member organizations
The three day practical training was organized by PELUM and focuses on “creating healthy soil for healthy plant, environment and food”. More than 21 best performing farmers and field officers representing five member organizations namely, ASE, EOC-DICAC, BPA, and MELCA Ethiopia, including PELUM Ethiopia staff members are participating at the valuable training. 

After participating the three day international meeting organized by AFSA (Alliance For Food Sovereignty) from 14-16 September, 2022 in Addis Ababa, more than 40 meeting participants representing 13 African countries, Spain, France, Sweden and India have had the opportunity to visit the Agro-ecology site at Lode Hitosa woreda of Arsi Zone implemented by our member organization Best Practice Association (BPA).

Best Practice Association (BPA), PELUM Ethiopia’s implementing organization, has organized a one day project launching program in Huruta, Lode Hitosa Woreda on September 04, 2022. The launching program was officially commenced with the opening speech delivered by the House Speaker of the woreda. 

The one day practical training was organized by PELUM Ethiopia in collaboration with its implementing organization, Best Practice Association (BPA) on August 02, 2022 in Huruta town of Lode Hitosa Woreda.

The one day consultative meeting was organized by PELUM Ethiopia in collaboration with Urban Agriculture and Livestock Development Directorate of the Ministry of Agriculture and Addis Ababa city Farmers and Urban Agriculture development Commission of Addis Ababa with the financial support from PELUM Ethiopia and held on 18 August, 2022 at Bellevue Hotel in Addis Ababa.

PELUM Ethiopia organized practical training on Soil Fertility and Health enhancement practices, Agroforestry, and Plant Protection, during the training, 20(4F) farmers, focal persons, Development Agents and Religious persons participated, representing religious institutions and the surrounding kebele communities located in Assebot and Adulala.
